This Argentium Silver, copper and brass Mountain Landscape cuff bracelet was inspired by my love for Arizona landscapes. When most people think of Arizona, they think of the desert, cacti and heat. A couple hundred miles north of the desert lies the most beautiful mountains at 7000+ feet. This particular bracelet is made of 24 gauge Argentium silver (mountains foreground and moon), copper (rear mountains) and brass (cuff bracelet), so it is sturdy, yet still relatively lightweight. All three layers have been fastened together with manually with rivets. The width of this bracelet is 29 mm. This cuff bracelet measures 16 cm (6.375in) in length. It can be adjusted to work for a smaller wrist or a larger wrist. Please remember, copper and brass will tarnish. This bracelet can be polished and brought back to its original state or it can be left with a darker patina. Thank you! Additional information on Argentium silver: Argentium Silver was invented by Master Silversmith, Peter Johns at Middlesex University, London. His initial research concentrated on eliminating firestain in traditional Sterling silver, using the element Germanium. Germanium was also found to add further benefits, including tarnish resistance and heat-hardening properties. Argentium is a sterling silver alloy that is 1% purer than traditional sterling at 93.5%. (Traditional sterling is 92.5% pure.) It contains the metalloid germanium that gives Argentium silver more workable qualities than sterling, including: Firescale elimination High tarnish resistance Precipitation hardening and simple heat-hardening properties Increased ductility Increased thermal and electrical resistance (making alloys suitable for welding and laser forming) Environmental advantages (associated with not having to remove or plate over firescale)
